Quickest path — report from inside the app

The fastest way to reach us with the right context is the in-app reporter:

Each report gets a tracking code like ABC12-DEF34-… — keep it. You can look up status at /support/track using that code.

Common questions

I can't sign in / I'm stuck on the Connect screen

Steward is self-hosted: each user runs their own instance. The mobile app needs the URL of your instance (e.g. https://your-name.fi.paired.net) and the email associated with it. Either scan the QR code shown on the web app's Connect page, or paste the URL + email manually. If you don't have an instance yet, contact us about provisioning one.

My balances / portfolio look wrong

Triggers: missing FX rates (we default to today's rates if a currency lookup fails), a recently-added position that hasn't been priced yet, or a sync source (Pluggy / Teller / Enable Banking) that hasn't refreshed in 24h. Report via the in-app reporter so we can see the exact row.

The mobile app shows old data

Stale-while-revalidate is on by default — pull-to-refresh from the top of any list. If pull-to-refresh shows the same numbers, the server side might be cached; try again in 30 seconds or sign out + back in.

Push notifications stopped

Settings → Push notifications → tap a toggle (off then on) to re-register this device with the server. If still silent, check iOS / Android system Settings → Notifications → Steward is allowed.

I want to delete my account / data

Use the contact form above with the address on file. Confirmed deletes remove the tenant database; the deletion is irreversible. For app-local data only, sign out from Settings — the app's cache is cleared and credentials are removed from the device keychain.

I'm an App Store / Play Store reviewer

Reviewer credentials and walkthrough are submitted to the App Review team alongside the build. If they didn't reach you, send a message via the contact form above referencing the submission and we'll resend.

Status & uptime

Steward is hosted on Railway with auto-restart on failure. Routine maintenance is rare and announced in-app. For acute outage reports use the contact form above and we'll respond with current status.
